    CSS Help Please! text-decoration field not working for A:Link, visited....

    Hi,

    I'm coding a layout for IE and I'm having some problems with my external style sheet which is as follows:

    td,p,body{color: red; font: 8pt verdana; letter-spacing: 1px;}

    A:link {text-decoration: none; color:red; :8pt verdana; letter-spacing: 1px; }

    A:visited {text-decoration: none; color:red; font:8pt verdana; letter-spacing: 1px; }

    A:hover {text-decoration: none; color:red;font:8pt verdana; letter-spacing: 1px ;cursor:

    crosshair; border-bottom:dashed 1px #ffd201; }

    BODY { scrollbar-face-color: #ac000e;
    scrollbar-highlight-color : #ac000e;
    scrollbar-3dlight-color : red;
    scrollbar-shadow-color : #d70700;
    scrollbar-darkshadow-color : #ac000e;
    scrollbar-track-color : #d70700;
    scrollbar-arrow-color : red;}

    BODY{background: #ac000e; }

    INPUT {background-color: #ac000e;
    border-color: red;
    color: red;
    font-family: verdana;
    font-size: 8pt; letter-spacing: 1pt}

    textarea {height:20; width:90; background-color: #ac000e; font-family: verdana; font; 8pt;

    letter-spacing; 1pt; color: red; border-style: solid; border-color: red; border-width:

    1px;}
    textarea.email{height:100; width:320;}
    textarea.pixel{height:20; width:50;}

    .table1 {border-style: dashed; border-color: red; border-width: 1px; background-

    color:#ac000e; padding-left: 3px; padding-right: 3px; text-align: center; color: red; font

    -size: 8 pt; font-family: 'verdana'; letter-spacing; 1pt; padding-left: 3px; padding-right:

    3px;}

    I'm having problems with A:link and A:visited...even though I have the text-decoration set to "none", the standing links themselves are are appearing with a solid underline which is the same color as the standing links. I was hoping someone could help me figure out what the problem is. Am I overlooking something? Am I using the correct attribute to remove ALL text decoration? Thank you for your help, I appreciate it.

    Your link CSS is fine...

    Try replacing these lines:
    Code:
    A:link {text-decoration: none; color:red; :8pt verdana; letter-spacing: 1px; }

    A:visited {text-decoration: none; color:red; font:8pt verdana; letter-spacing: 1px; }

    A:hover {text-decoration: none; color:red;font:8pt verdana; letter-spacing: 1px ;cursor:

    crosshair; border-bottom:dashed 1px #ffd201; }
    with this:
    Code:
    a {text-decoration: none; color:red; :8pt verdana; letter-spacing: 1px; }
    a:hover {cursor:crosshair; border-bottom:dashed 1px #ffd201; }
    Perhaps you should post the html for the page in question

    I take no responsibility for the above nonsense.
