    please help edit this css

    http://www.shanahanfootball.com/newdesign/

    Attached is my style.css

    I dont have the time to really play with this and cant get it to do what I want. Any help would be great:

    1. I need the grey to go all the way to the ends of the page
    2. I need everything centered
    3. I want the green in the menu area to go to the left and right of (ends of the page) as well, just like the grey.

    That is really it. Can some one help?

    This forum is to help you, not to get people to do everything for you. Have you even attempted what you needed to get done?

    I think this will get you started. Most of it was just simple mistakes on your part.
    Code:
    html, body {
    margin:0;
    padding:0;
    }
    div.header {
    	border: 10px solid #CCCCCC;
    	border-bottom-width: 0px;
    	background-color:#CCCCCC;
    text-align:center;
    }
    div.menu {
    	font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    	font-size: 16px;
    	font-style: normal;
    	font-weight: normal;
    	color: #FFFFFF;
    	border: 5px solid #177B2F;
    	background-color:#177B2F;
    }
    For example, what hex color is #CCCCC? There isn't one, hex is 6 digits long hence the word hex meaning 6. How can gray borders extend the width of the page when you set a width to a div, they can't. If you don't have the time to do something yourself don't expect other people to do it for you. If you don't have the time then don't do it, just get to it when you can. The rest of the css, your on your own.

    by the way, I'm guessing you are using a WYSIWYG editor seeing as how you copy and pasted into a window. Think twice before you type. Check out your CSS file. Learn to code by hand.
    Code:
    html, body {<br>
    margin:0;<br>
    padding:0;<br>
    }<br>
    div.header {<br>
    border: 10px solid #CCCCCC;<br>
    border-bottom-width: 0px;<br>
    background-color:#CCCCCC;<br>
    text-align:center;<br>
    }<br>
    div.menu {<br>
    font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;<br>
    font-size: 16px;<br>
    font-style: normal;<br>
    font-weight: normal;<br>
    color: #FFFFFF;<br>
    border: 5px solid #177B2F;<br>
    background-color:#177B2F;<br>
    }
    }
    div#links a:link {color: #FFFFFF;}
    div#links a:visited {color: #FFFFFF; }
    div#links a:hover {color: #FFCC33; }
    div#links a:active {color: #FFFFFF; }

    div.body {
    	margin-left:auto;
    	margin-right:auto;
    	width: 694px;
    	text-align:left;
    	padding-left:9px;
    	padding-right:9px;
    	font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    	font-size: 14px;
    	font-style: normal;
    	font-weight: normal;
    	border: 3px solid #177B2F;
    }
    p.partext { font-size: 16px; }
    p.coverage1 {
    	margin: .5cm .5cm 1.5cm 1.5cm;
    	text-align:center;
    }

    .quote {
    	margin-left:auto;
    	margin-right:auto;
    	width: 690px;
    	text-align:left;
    	padding: 2mm;
    	vertical-align:middle;
    	font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    	font-size: 14px;
    	font-style: normal;
    	font-weight: normal;
    	border-style: solid;
    	border-width: 1px;
    	border-color: #177B2F;
    }
    Notice all of the <br> tags in your CSS? Those are messing it up. I don't give a solution until I check to see if it works.

    Have a nice day.
