    Suggestions for site

    Hello,

I've come to a point where I can't figure out what I want to do for this site.

This is just a skeleton of the design and I am planning on removing the banner at the top.

I was wondering if anybody had suggestions for what I could do...I realize that this is different than the normal technical questions, but I surprisingly did well this time in that aspect.

Also this is one of my first websites so any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Site: http://www.elozano.com/test/index.html

    CSS: http://www.elozano.com/test/main.css

    Any help is appreciated...

I am just having a mental block at the moment.

Its a little basic. I like the left navigation, but the font you used is a no no you should be using something other than times new roman and that right nav well the text is a bit small. You have a lot of space that you can use.

Nothing wrong with Times New Roman. I'm liking the site, actually. Sure it's basic, but that's a good thing. Maybe spice up the header some by making the pictures bigger (if possible) and adding some sort of title text/graphic.

I fully agree with BroChris sometimes simple is better. The site looks good but again like BroChris said I would draw attention to the header. Everything else looks good. Nice job.

sans-serif fonts (i.e. verdana, arial, helvetica) are easier to read on screen, whereas serif fonts (i.e. times new roman, bookman) are easier to read on print...
