    Variable width table cells

    For this site:

    http://mywebpages.comcast.net/jakerbug/ttfreeze/

I'm looking to make the red sections expand and contract according to the width of the browser window. I'm not a novice by any means, but I usually make fixed-width sites. I've been playing around with numbers and percentages for too long now so I'm surrendering the problem to this forum.

I'd like the red sections to expand to the width they are now (141px) and contract to 1px when the browser window is smaller than the total width (864px) of that layout - with the exception of course of the large middle area, which i would just want to decrease by the 140px width that the other areas are decreasing by.

    Any help?

    Thanks!
    Jake
