    Gap Below CSS Column (Liquid Layout)

    Link: http://www.chilipie.co.uk/thestoreroom/

    There is a small gap between the right-side column and the footer. Both the XHTML and CSS files are valid. Can anyone help me out on this one?

    Also, in IE the unordered lists in the left column are being pushed below the text in the left column. This has happened to me before, so I'll start searching CF .

    Hey Chilipie,

    It looks like this is the problem:
    Code:
    #firstcontent p {
    font-size: 90%;
    text-align: justify;
    padding: 1em 2em;
    line-height: 1.3em;
    }
    If I change that to 2em or 0em the visual evens out on both sides (it looks like the padding on "firstcontent" is overlapping the border a bit).

    I'm not quite sure why that fixes it, but at least it's a start
