    CSS OK in HTML e-mails?

    Quick question guys:

I'm in the process of creating an e-mail newsletter...I'm planning on formatting the e-mails in HTML...I just want to verify something before I get started designing the e-mail: Is it OK to use CSS in the HTML-formatted emails?....If so, how much CSS can I get away with using?....I could be totally wrong, but I thought I saw somewhere that it was better to use tables instead of CSS for formatting HTML emails?....Just want to make sure before I get started...thanks anyone...
    Regards, R.J.
