    Using link href vs. pasting it between the head tags

    When I paste the whole CSS doc in between the head tags, all the text is the proper size.

    When I call the css doc using link href, the text sizes are all whack. For some reason, this does not make it's way into the selector definitions:

    TD,P,body{FONT-FAMILY:verdana,arial,helvetica;FONT-SIZE:10pt;}

    So if I use

    .big{font-weight:bold}

    <p class=big> test

    The text will be bold, but not 10pt.

    Whats up with that?

    That's twisted :|
    Can you host the two pages somewhere and supply us with a link to check it out?

    I take no responsibility for the above nonsense.

    It may have something to do with your bodyrow2 class (besides the lack of quotes around attribute )
    font-weight:none;
    should be
    Code:
      font-weight:normal;
    That's the only error I can see in those two rules though

    I take no responsibility for the above nonsense.

    I see an error in the .css file: You're including the style opening and closing tags in it. This file should be pure CSS, so it shouldn't contain any HTML whatsoever. In fact, I think what is broke is your first selector:
    Code:
    <style type="text/css">

    TD,P,body
    This is a broken selector (the '<style type="text/css"> TD' is not a valid selector), and thus firefox does the right thing and disregards the entire ruleset, as it should. Any browser not doing it that way would be incorrect.
