    "width" is misspelled as "wiidth" everywhere that's the problem.
    Here is the working code Jsfiddle

    Hi there hareem,

    Your code had various coding and typing errors that would have been
    revealed to you, had you made use of these two validators...

    1. The W3C Markup Validation Service
    2. The W3C CSS Validation Service

    They really are essential coders' tools.

    Here is your corrected code...
    Code:

    <!doctype html>
    <html>
    <head>

    <meta charset="utf-8">

    <title>untitled document</title>

    <style>
    #slider{
        height:500px;
        background-color:#C2F0F0;
     }
    .slider1{
        height:50px;
     }
    #slider2{
        height:400px;
     }
    #slider3{
        height:400px;
        width:10%;
        float:left;
     }
    #slider4{
        height:400px;
        width:80%;
        float:left;
        background-color:#000000;
        box-shadow: 10px 10px 5px #888888;
     }
    #slider5{
        height:400px;
        width:10%;
        float:right;
     }
    </style>

    </head>
    <body>

    <div id="slider">

    <div class="slider1"></div>

    <div id="slider2">
    <div id="slider3"></div>
    <div id="slider4"></div>
    <div id="slider5"></div>
    </div>

    <div class="slider1"></div>

    </div>

    </body>
    </html>
