Help with coding for icon rollovers

    Hi,

I’m trying to set up my ‘email me’ and linkedin icons (see contact page on my wordpress website Noble Cat Design) as rollovers so that they change to a different colour when hovered over. I’ve looked at various guides on how to do this online but without any luck. I tried using the Virtual Slidebox builder plug in, but with on luck as my settings wouldn’t save for some reason. I found a site suggesting I add particular code, which I did but obviously not correctly as the rollover worked, but my alignment was screwed up and the <!-start_raw-> code appeared with the icon. How should I integrate the suggested code into the existing code for my contact page, so that it looks at it does now, but the icons have the roll over effect?

I've attached the original page code and the suggested rollover code.

    Any help is MUCH appreciated!

    Thanks
    Gareth

Check out the CSS method on this page: CSS Image Rollovers - Webvamp.

Have an experiment, it's all in the learning. If you want further help with that CSS method please let me know. It is better practice to use CSS rather than JavaScript in this method, unless you're looking to achieve fading effects etc.

Oh, and welcome to the CodingForums

    Kind Regards
