    Fixed Positioning for Responsive Website

    I am trying to place a fixed menu on my page that will anchor text to various parts of my page. I am using the following css:
    <code>
    .sticky {
    position: fixed;
    max-width: 100%;
    left: 0;
    text-align: center;
    width: 100%;
    height: auto;
    z-index: 999;
    }
    </code>

    This is creating a result that does not fit my page container, and the next div has lost its positioning.
    This is the div tag for the div following my fixed element.
    <div id="fws_539c589bd7f11" class="wpb_row vc_row-fluid standard_section " style="padding-top: 35px; padding-bottom: 0px;">

    Confirm that you linked the style sheet to the html page using the <link> tag. Your code seems to e working just fine, and if the problem persists please expound on the problem.

    I added an extra class inside of the same page style.
    The images do not seem to move into the desired position using top or right? I want the elements to show in the right sidebar location and scroll to the bottom of the images and then fix so the images are always present as I scroll.
