    Nav UL Bottom Border & LI Width?

    PowerON Technologies - San Diego-Based Graphic Design, Mobile App & Web Development Firm

    I want the bottom border to appear immediately underneath the top menu items.
    Is there a way to apply the bottom border to the UL instead of the nested UL (as shown)?
    Or will I need to add the bottom border to the nav?

    Also, why is the Turning The Hearts Center LI so narrow?

    Thanks for your time!!!

    You want a border to appear below the words “about”, “graphics”, “mobile apps”, etc.? Then apply it to the links that surround these words.

    That one item is so narrow because you tell it to be in the rule that reads
    Code:
    nav li:nth-of-type(3), nav li:nth-of-type(4) {
      width: 27.5%;
    }
    That addresses any list item that is third or fourth child of an element inside the nav element. You need to be a little more specific if you just mean the first-level items; something like nav > ul > li:nth-of-type(3)…
