    Exclamation Simple Links/Nav Bar?

Hey, it's been a while since I made a site and I'm having a bit of trouble getting my nav bar to work. You know the pretty bar the users click to navigate the site?

I have two different pictures for each page, a regular one and then a hover one. It looks really sloppy when i have it all in a table and onmouseover / onmouseout. I'm guessing there is a better way to do this?

    Thanks.

You can check out this nice little tutorial on How to Create Horizontal Navigation With CSS3. It shows you in detail how to make just what you are looking for.

You definitely do not want to use a table for nav in a modern page. The common formats in the 21st century are either styled unordered list or for modern browsera you can use the <nav> tag. If the nave has sub-categories you will need to do something dynamic, but scripting is no longer necessary for most effects. you may find this approach to dynamic menus helpful
