    Removing unwanted form field/centering object and text - question

    Hello

    I have a small form with two form fields, and I am trying to remove an unwanted field (the one near the bottom) and centre the remaining form field and my text.

    My CSS uses:

    Code:
    margin-left:auto;
     margin-right:auto;
    for both <h2> and <h3> to no avail, so something must be preventing any centering.

    The form is here:
    Code:
    http://www.bayingwolf.com/Dima_Login/forgot/password.asp
    and I would be grateful if someone could lend a helping hand.

    Thank you.

    I can't preview the page. Did you solve the problem and removed it?

    Hello fixie

    Thanks for replying.

    I have managed to remove the unwanted form input field. There is now only one, which is correct (it's for an email address).

    However, I can't seem to place under a text link, or a button that looks like a text link, under the form field. Ideally, I would like it centred or maybe aligned to the right.

    I have simply changed the path while tidying up my server. It is now: Password recovery

    Thanks again for any suggestions.

    You can replace the html with this: [HTML] blue1htmlfix - Pastebin.com
    ...and css (style2.css file) code with this: [CSS] blue1cssfix - Pastebin.com

    Let me know if that works!

    You had unnecessary margin on h2 and h3 elements which prevented it from displaying the text in center. Mind you, I assume you used the style2.css file for that page only. I reduced the width of the #page-wrap id to make the elements align nicely without much fuss. Do not use this css modification if you share the style2.css file with other pages. In that case just compare the changes.
