Question I want my rows and columns intact

I am using a Poll (by proxy2.de) on the main page of my website.

It is a php poll but it is being used in one of the table cells as an include.

However,.. sometimes the server goes down,.. and a
'connection error' message appears - which is automatically generated by the server.

since this message comes with a different script, it messes up the page, and my column widths go meaningless.

my question is: how can I stabilize the widths/sizes of my tables/rows&columns so that no matter what happens they always stay intact? (except for iframe)

    Thanks.

for your sizes, dont use percentages but rather absolute values. this will create a word wrap instead of scrolling over.

What a poll is doing in a table cell? Solve THE PROBLEM ans alot of other things will take care of themselves.
