    site not showing up correctly on mobile

    Hello,

    I have downloaded a template and I have spent hours on it, and I just found out the homepage is not showing up correctly on mobile.

    The template can be viewed here: gmm dot medianewsonline.com/Agency/
    (A in Agency must be capital or it won't work)

    There are 2 problems in mobile: that big phone number (555-111-0000) is black in mobile.
    now the more important problem: you see how the top part of the website has a background picture of tree leaves? and then the rest of the website is white?
    on mobile, that background picture extends to the body as well, so there is no white background, all that writing starting at

    Introducing Agency!
    Need reasons to purchase this template? See below.

    should have a white background, but instead, it has that pictures with the leaves as its background.
    It's kind of hard to describe, if you look at it on an iphone or ipod touch, the problem is very obvious.

    Please if it won't take too much time, let me know what I need to do to fix this. otherwise all this time that i spent was for nothing.

    if you want to download the template, you can download it from here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/l9g2v3

    Hi
    I'm looking at that website right now, on my computer and on my mobile;
    On the computer seems ok, but on the mobile....not quite.
    Even though the phone number is white and not black, a fix for you could be to force it (put a font color="white") and force it to remain white.

    As for the background.... on my phone the white background starts from the middle of writing (our passion......bla bla bla), or even from "Engage, innovate or die" - in landscape mode.

    I am just a newbie in HTML, but I notice that the top picture is resizing in one way and conflicts with the resizing method of the writing div ... my solution would be to put all text in a div which would have the picture (home-banner.png) as stretched-resizable background.

    I will check some more, and will get back to you.

    @joejohn,
    I downloaded this template and do not see the problems your having. Maybe your missing some files or have changed some of the code or put a file in the wrong folder.

    I think you should delete the set up you have now and un-zip the download into a single folder.

    you mean the phone number does not appear black for you? it appears white just like it should?
    and the homepage's body background is white and not some weird color?
    may I ask what device you are using? I am using iphone and ipod touch.

    I did not make any changes to that template that you see on the medianews.com site that I posted. I unzipped and uploaded it straight away.

    The number is white for me in the Browser 4.1 and Firefox 26 apps on my Android 4.1 phone. Ditto for Firefox 26 on the desktop.

    Maybe the iPhone or iPod or app are causing the number to be reformatted. I know the Skype desktop application reformats numbers into blue links when you have the Click to Call plug-in installed.

    You might want to work on the mobile part. Right now it's downloading background images that aren't being used (like the dessert image), then replacing them with a dark, leafy image after those redundant background images (like the dessert image) are loaded. That's wasted bandwidth width and slower load times right there.
    For every complex problem, there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

    Yes, that is correct. FF ver 26.0 and a tab3.

    HTML shows
    Code:

    <div class="container show-case-item">
        <h1> ENGAGE & INNOVATE, OR DIE<br />
          (555) 111-0000 </h1>
    I have looked color for h1 and "container show-case-item" and have found nothing in the CSS files that would do this.
