    The only bottom padding that I can see is in your
    Code:
    #footer h2 {
      color: #777777;
      font-size: 16px;
      letter-spacing: normal;
      padding-top: 20px;
      padding-bottom: 20px;
      margin: 0px;
      text-align: center;
      text-shadow: 0 1px 0 #000000;
      text-transform: uppercase;
    }

    If you want to leave the padding in the css file but have a different result on the page you could add a style to the h2 tag <h2 style="padding-bottom:0px">

    Try out ith the below code:

    set padding:10px; and min-width:1100px; on your header while you define min-width:1100px; on your footer. That is causing you your white space.

    Hope this helps.

    Try setting padding:0px in the container and footer.
