    Exclamation Link on Buttons won't work for individual user

    Hello all - I have a hopefully very simple issue.

    My agency deployed a landing page for a client and the button links will not work for one person testing it. They click and it goes nowhere, but nobody else has experienced this issue. This user tried viewing through IE8 and his blackberry with no luck.

    The page is optimized for mobile viewing as well, which i don't have too much experience with, so i wasn't sure if that might be part of the issue.

    If anyone can help point out the problem, i will be eternally grateful!!! Please help!

    Here is a link to site.

    & the code...

    Code:
    <!DOCTYPE html>
    <html>
    	<head>
    		<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
    		<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1, maximum-scale=1, minimum-scale=1">

    Neither do they for me in IE 8. One reason for this is that you are using a button element inside an anchor (and without a form) which is 1) not valid HTML and 2) triggering the button element (that does nothing by default), not the anchor in IE. Why are you using button elements in the first place when you could just style the anchors to look like buttons anyway?

    Also, check your HTML in the validator, there are more errors than that.

    Thanks for replying! Is there any way to adjust my current set up so that it will work, or do i need to approach it completely different?

    As I said, just apply the styles you’re currently applying to the button element to the anchors surrounding the buttons and then get rid of the button elements all along.
    Your HTML could look like this and would look exactly the same on the page:
    Code:
    <a href="…" class="reg-btn"><span>SELECT DALLAS</span></a>
    You could even get rid of the span element if you applied the styles to the anchor directly.
