    Question Image mapping backgrounds

    Hello. Is there a way to image map a background image like so?

    Code:
    <body background="somelinkhere.png" bgproperties="fixed" >
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello ThunderWaffe,
    That bit is invalid, you should do that from CSS anyway.

    Try this - body {background: url(somelinkhere.png) fixed;}
    Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
    Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad

    Just to expand on excavator a little, you can decide if the image will repeat, direction it will, not repeat or stay in one position.

    Read all about it at: CSS Background-repeat.
