    sub-menu issue

    Hi I'm new to this site so hello to all. I just created my first menu which is exciting but I am having some formatting issues. On the drop-down for the submenu a big block is created that extends into the next menu item on the right. I just want the block to be as wide as the menu item selected and directly under that option. The site is www.utu171.com/coolmenu.html and the menu in question is under "Forms"

    Thanks..Russ

    if you post you css that would be a help
    plus I always find that border: 1px solid #f00; good for seeing invisble borders so I know where the box is.

    its this line -webkit-padding-start: 40px; thats pushing all the menu list items 40px out.

    Hello rry2k,
    Have a look at changing your padding. Right now the dropped anchors are padded like the parent anchors.
    Something like this might get you started - #coolMenu li ul li a {padding: 0;}
    Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
    Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad
