    Image Rollovers (latest practices?)

    Hello,

I am going to be creating a basic Social Networking <div> with several icons that link to their respective pages (facebook, twitter, etc).

The icons will be 'greyed' out, and when the mouse rolls over, they will become colored.

I was planning on doing a basic image rollover in Dreamweaver with (2) images for each icon.

Is this still the most efficient way to achieve this, or is there a an easier way?

    Thanks

An alternative is to have one image twice the size with only half being displayed and have the image moved to display the other half when the mouse rolls over it.
