    onclick to form

    Hi everyone,

Hoping to get some assistance. I want to do a simple onclick on a login form (username password) i'm just not sure which is the best way to go about it...

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

Could you please explain in more detail what you are trying to accomplish? What do you mean by "onclick"?

I'm getting the feeling this may not be simply html or CSS related?

Hi,Sorry I will include more details.

    For example

The text 'register' - when you click on register it will make a form appear (text form for both name and email with submit)

Hope this is enough information. I do apologise as this may be JS related.

That is javascript related. Look into jquery and AJAX.

Try reading through some old threads on the javascript side of the forums, if you need further help then ask your question there.

Just Google making forms appear by clicking using ajax or jquery.I'm at school so I can't pull up some example tutorials right now.

    Hi Steven,

I have figured out and got this working using javascript, however now relating back to CSS, when it appears it's appearing behind another div. I haven't had a chance to spend too much time but I did change the z-index to a higher value with no success. Any ideas?

It's hard to tell without your code. Is your login form popping up in a box, or sliding onto the page?

Don’t start a new thread, ask for this to be moved.
But I’m gonna wait until we see some code because it could very well be an HTML/CSS problem.
