    Leftnav and rightnav drop - omg, what did I do?

    Please bear with me. I changed something in my 3 column website stylesheet this morning and my left and right columns somehow ended up dropping down.

    I know I made a mistake changing my #leftnav values or something in my stylesheet... I just don't know what I did!

    My site is pretty big and the layout is set so the #leftnav and #rightnav come after my content section. (To make it a bit more confusing!) So I have my contentwrap, content, followed by my leftnav and rightnav.

    If you navigate to http://www.discover-rehoboth-beach.com, you will see my leftnav content and my rightnav content pushed down on the left-hand side past the end of my homepage content.

    Code:
    #leftnav  {
    float: left;
    width: 172px;
    margin-left: -1000px;
    border-bottom-width: 1px;

    }

    #leftnav ul
    {
    	margin-left: 0;
    	padding-left: 0;
    	list-style-type: none;
    	font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;
    	font-size: 12px;

    }

    #leftnav li
    {
    	margin-left: 0;
    	padding-left: 0;
    	list-style-type: none;
    	font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;
    	font-size: 12px;

    }

    #leftnav a
    {
    	display: block;
    	width: 160px;
    	padding-top: 5px;
    	padding-right: 3px;
    	padding-bottom: 6px;
    	padding-left: 5px;
    	background-color: #e6e3cf;
    border-bottom: 1px solid #a19a6b;

    }

    #leftnav a:link, .navlist a:visited
    {
    color: #000;
    text-decoration: none;

    }

    #leftnav a:hover
    {
    	color: #000;
    	background-color: #e4dfba;
    }

    #leftnav a:visited
    {
    color: #000000;
      text-decoration: none;

    }
    Code:
    #rightcolumn  {
    float: left;
    width: 170px;
    padding-top: 10px;
    margin-left: -170px; /* width and margin have to be the same */

    }

    Instead of trying to rebuild the entire site, is there anything I can do to fix this? I've been trying for hours now... I'm sorry, I know there's a ton of code and CSS!

    Browsers are not reading your stylesheet entries for #leftnav and #rightcolumn.
    Try amending the comment fields in your stylesheet so they are properly marked - at present you have html comments in a css sheet:

    Code:
    /*--- START LEFTNAV ---*/

    #leftnav  {
    float: left;
    width: 170px;
    margin-left: -1000px;
    border-bottom-width: 1px;

    }

    /*--- END LEFTNAV ---*/

    #rightcolumn  {
    float: left;
    width: 170px;
    padding-top: 10px;
    margin-left: -170px; /* width and margin have to be the same */

    }

    Thank you so much. I was literally ready to pull my hair out!!! Amazing how screwing up comments can cause so many issues.
