    Check the z-index of the dropdown & make sure it's higher than the stuff below it.

    this is the current code:

    Code:

    #navMenu ul li:hover ul {
    visibility:visible;
    z-index:9999;
    display:block !important;
     }
    I also changed the value but it is not working.

    For z-index to work, you need to set the positions attributes to the affected elements.

    Can you post a link to your live site?

    Teed,

    It's an internal site...not sure I can post this link...

    Code:
         <li style="font-size: 0.7em"> <a href="#">Tax Departments</a>
          <ul>
        <li><a href="#">Employment Tax</a></li>
        <li><a href="#">Income Tax</a></li>
        <li><a href="#">License</a></li>
        <li><a href="#">National</a></li>
        <li><a href="#">Property Tax</a></li>
        <li><a href="#">Real Estate</a></li>
        <li><a href="#">Sales Tax</a></li>
        <li><a href="#">Tax Audits</a></li>
        <li><a href="#">Tax Planning</a></li>
        <li><a href="#">Tax Systems</a></li>
        <li><a href="#">Unclaimed Property</a></li>
      </ul>

         </li>
    CSS:
    Code:
      #navMenu li {
    	margin:0;
    	padding:0;
    	list-style:none;
    	float:left;
    	position:relative;
    	/*for 1280 screen*/
    width:210px;
    	/*for 1360 screen
    width:223px;*/
    /*background-color: #09F;*/
    background-color:#900 !important;
    	display:inline-block !important;
    	z-index:1;
     }
