    Unhappy Grids and CSS3

Hello, I am trying to get a layout I have below to show properly with a grid layout or someway of showing it. My biggest problem is the "overflow:hidden;" property that most grid generators use. This is fine except I am trying to use a "box-shadow" on each block and the overflow is cutting it off. When I disable it, of course the grid messes up.

Could anyone give me suggestions or a code example to show me how to get this to work the way I have the example below? Thanks!

Friendly bump. Still looking for some help on this subject. The .clear class div from 960.gs works but I heard semantically this is not good practice.

    Any help or pointers guys?
