    html/css/JS web

    Hi, I am quite new in this area and I have a question to all web designing expert here.. I need to develop a web page that includes as shown in the picture whereby first, there are a list of products, and once you move the cursor, each item will be highlighted and bold (text)
    Should I use onMouseOver for this case?
    Second, once I click each item, there will be a box appear showing the name of the product. So, Should I use alert() function for this case?
    Once I have already close the box, the earlier highlighted and bold (text) will disappear. What should I use for this?
    Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanksss

    You can do the mouse over effect with CSS :hover and alert box something like this;

    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    function show_alert()
    {
    alert("This is alert box!");
    }
    </script>

    <input type="button" onclick="show_alert()" value="Click to show amazing alertbox" />
    More about CSS :hover effect, from the link below;

    More about JavaScript popups from the link below;

    Hope this helps.
