Help with layout and possible functionality

I am creating a time off sheet online...I need some help with structuring it i believe..
this is what it is suppose to look like ..http://imgur.com/X521Q ..now..ideally ..all the employees will be editing is the in's and out's....we have a database table for time off..the idea is to imports those dates and auto populate them into this table...

For example - lets say the date range is from feb 5th - feb25th..and i asked off for personal reasons for 8 hours on feb24th...so in the second thursday column and the row of personal...there would be an 8.00...i have a way to figure out if its first thursday or 2nds thurdays..really the part i'm stuck on is once i know what thursday it is, the hours, and the reason..how do i tell it to go to that specific textbox(cell)....i'm figuring i need ideaas..and maybe make top row a hearder row..but still unsure..any help is greatly appreciated..here is the code

Hey isn't this more of a Javascript issue?

And your issue is still a little unclear. What do you mean by "how do i tell it to go to that specific textbox(cell)"? Which cell?

Do you mean, when the person enters 8 in personal on either Thursday, how do you tell it to populate the bottom section with the totals?

no...not using any javascript..at least not atm...let me try to word it a bit differently..ideally..if someone was not coming in to work...they shouldnt have to enter anything on this particular page....it should automatically fill in from a database table of time off that we have stored....so lets say its friday..and i'm going home and i want to fill in my time sheet..and the day before..thursday..i took a personal day - 8 hours...i would fill in the in/out according to when i came in to work and left...but for that thursday..for in/out..i'd leave it at 0..and i wouldnt enter anything in..instead..when the page loads..it would have automatically filled in 8 hours underneath that thursday column and and the personal row... the calculations part at the bottom is easy..and getting the data is easy..the part i'm haivng a problem is..once i have that date or dates that i was not at work..how do i tell them to go to the proper spot on the table...be it a textbox or label..does that make more sense?
