    Designer's error

    I purchased a website template, and I believe there is an error in the following:
    #menu a {
    	display: inline-block;
    	height: 32px;
    	padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;
    	text-decoration: none;
    	text-decoration: 2px 2px 2px #749F8C;
    	font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif;
    	font-size: 16px;
    	color: #FFFFFF;
    text-decoration is listed twice, and the second one contains apparently erroneous values. I'm guessing the second text-decoration was supposed to be something else. Any guesses based on the arguments?

    Hello derekstucki,
    You are right to question that double entry, the second text decoration is invalid.
    Sometimes that sort of thing just slips by, it doesn't necessarily mean you've bought a bad template though... hopefully.

    See the links about validation in my signature line. The CSS validator show the one you've noticed already and may find more. The markup validator will likely find quite a few as well.

    Do you get any support with this template you've paid for?

    Any guesses based on the arguments?
    Not really. The 2px stuff doesn't really go with the color #749F8C.
    Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
    Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad

    That second text-decoration property looks like it was meant to say text-shadow. At least the look of the value implies that.
