    div layers?

    Hi,

I've been making a site that needed a footer that stretched to the bottom of the browser. I achieved it by telling the div to start at the bottom of the screen and stretch up to the div (artwork) at the top. The problem is is that when the content exceeds the height of the top div (say my div is 600px but the content goes to 620px) the footer div masks the extra content?
Is there a way of telling the footer div to sit behind the div above it?

Apply a bottom margin or padding to the content div as much as the footer is high.

Thanks for your reply...unfortunately this doesn't seem to do anything...the footer still obscures the content?

Here is a url to the test site in question. You'll see when you reduce the browser that the scroll bar to the side appears and you can reveal the rest of the text hidden by the footer div?
