Exclamation Fixed width div in center; Div on each side to fill any remaining width?

I am trying to make a header section that has one fixed width div in the center, with an image featuring a pattern, logo, and title set as the background and containing a <ul> of navigation links.

Then on each other side, I need to have a div that will align against the edges of the fixed-width center div and auto fill the remaining width in the browser no matter the browser dimensions.

I need to have a total of 3 divs with aligned edges so that on the outer divs, I can position the background pattern imgs so that it looks seamless with the fixed center div.

Here is a quick sketch of what I need:

I really appreciate any help you have to offer. Thanks!

    Good morning realrealtomato,
I think this is about the simplest way of doing that - http://nopeople.com/realrealtomato/
Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad
