    Hello virtuoso,
    Could it be as simple as fixing this error? http://validator.w3.org/check?verbos...m%2Findex.html
    Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
    Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad

    See the links about validation in my signature line. There is one for CSS also.

    This link might help you too, you can set utf8 on your js from htacess - http://www.askapache.com/htaccess/us...-htaccess.html

    You still have some errors in your markup. Different than before when Excavator pointed them out, but still may cause rendering issues. Rerun your site through the validator.

    You have two div elements with the same id "slider" You cant have multiple elements with the same id. Thats one of your errors and might be why your slider doesnt work properly when you insert the above code back in.

    Ok I am a newb... I understand that I can't have div name slider twice but how do i get it to slide?
    I have checked all my errors with the checker and have now passed with none but my slider still doesnt work...
    Do I need to rename something?
    Is something conflicting?

    working code before the checker fixed it
    Code:
         <!-- Teaser/slider area -->
    		 <div id="teaser">
            <div class="slider-wrapper theme-default gallery-slider controlnav-thumbs">
              <div id="slider" class="nivoSlider">
                <a href="./images/gallery/full-1.jpg" data-gal="prettyPhoto[gallery-slider]"><img src="./images/slides/slide-1.jpg" alt="A landing page with an organic look&amp;feel to it, provides a perfect sales platform." title="A landing page with an organic look&amp;feel to it, provides a perfect sales platform." /></a>
                <a href="./images/gallery/full-2.jpg" data-gal="prettyPhoto[gallery-slider]"><img src="./images/slides/slide-2.jpg" alt="A landing page with an organic look&amp;feel to it, provides a perfect sales platform." title="A landing page with an organic look&amp;feel to it, provides a perfect sales platform." /></a>
                <a href="./images/gallery/full-3.jpg" data-gal="prettyPhoto[gallery-slider]"><img src="./images/slides/slide-3.jpg" alt="A landing page with an organic look&amp;feel to it, provides a perfect sales platform." title="A landing page with an organic look&amp;feel to it, provides a perfect sales platform." /></a>
                <a href="./images/gallery/full-4.jpg" data-gal="prettyPhoto[gallery-slider]"><img src="./images/slides/slide-4.jpg" alt="A landing page with an organic look&amp;feel to it, provides a perfect sales platform." title="A landing page with an organic look&amp;feel to it, provides a perfect sales platform." /></a>
              </div>
            </div>
          </div>
        </div>
      </div>

    Fixed code after checker

    Code:
    <!-- Teaser/slider area -->
    <div id="teaser">
    <div class="slider-wrapper theme-default gallery-slider controlnav-thumbs nivoSlider" id="slider"><a href="./images/gallery/full-1.jpg"><img src="./images/slides/slide-1.jpg" alt="A landing page with an organic look&amp;feel to it, provides a perfect sales platform." title="A landing page with an organic look&amp;feel to it, provides a perfect sales platform."></a> <a href="./images/gallery/full-2.jpg"><img src="./images/slides/slide-2.jpg" alt="A landing page with an organic look&amp;feel to it, provides a perfect sales platform." title="A landing page with an organic look&amp;feel to it, provides a perfect sales platform."></a> <a href="./images/gallery/full-3.jpg"><img src="./images/slides/slide-3.jpg" alt="A landing page with an organic look&amp;feel to it, provides a perfect sales platform." title="A landing page with an organic look&amp;feel to it, provides a perfect sales platform."></a> <a href="./images/gallery/full-4.jpg"><img src="./images/slides/slide-4.jpg" alt="A landing page with an organic look&amp;feel to it, provides a perfect sales platform." title="A landing page with an organic look&amp;feel to it, provides a perfect sales platform."></a></div>
    </div>
