    XML Parser question

I'm looking to have the results of a search box show inside a master page using SSI. This is a project I'm working on for myself.

My search provider said this is possible, but I would need a XML Parcer.

Would anyone have a link to an explanation of such code, or show me an example of a parcer working?

Once I have the parcer code in place, and also a few sample pages to search, my search provider said they will be able to get this working on their end.

Thanks to anyone who is able to help me on this.

There are a variety of ways you can parse XML. If you're doing it on the server, which it sounds like, you can use PHP to access the XML DOM, you can use SimpleXML, or you can write an XML parser directly. Here's a link: http://us2.php.net/manual/en/book.xml.php
