    is there a way to get rid of the border bottom by css?

    how to get rid of the border bottom which under

    the html :

             </ul>
        </div>
     <div class="content">....</div>
    my style(it's doesn't get rid of the bottom under test text):

    background-color:#FFFFFF;
    }
    rank ul li{
    float:left;
    border:1px solid #D5D5D5;
    border-bottom:none;
    }
    
    .content{
    clear:both;
    border-top:1px solid #D5D5D5;
    }
    ps: why when i use overflow:hidden to rank div, it can prevent the float to the content div?

    just about to test my theory, but would that not be settting the li to no-underline ?

    do you have the rest of the code as there are parts missing for to be able to test this out properly.

    ie.. css for tab1, tab2

    as the code you have provided does not show the same as in your screen shot.
