    What particular Marquee are you working with? Could you provide a link to your page containing the marquee script or a link to the page you obtained the script from? There's most likely a variable you can modify to change the speed of the marquee (example: var speed=6, 5, 4, 3, etc.), but for specific help, we'll need to see the code you're working with .

    It would still be more helpful if we could see the code you created after reading the tutorial. There are a few variations you could have come up with after following the tutorial. What do you have set for your 'scrollAmount' and 'scrollDelay'?

    Ok, I threw together a quick example of using the marquee tag. See the bolded scrollamount="8" in the example? Change the 8 to a higher number to speed it up and a lower number to slow it down. Again, this is a pretty basic example and I don't know how you have your code set up, but you can add the 'scrollamount' attribute to what you have now to adjust the seed :

    Code:
    <html>
    <head>
    <title>Example</title>
    </head>
    <body>
    <marquee width="350" height="100" direction="left" behavior="scroll" scrollamount="8">
    Some text in the marquee tag...
    </marquee>
    </body>
    </html>
    Does this help you out?

    People really dislike those because they can't read them...Be forwarned if it's a biz site.
    Zoobie or not Zoobie...That is the problem.

    Err, that's prolly why he wants to slow it down The slower it moves, the easier it is to read

    Here is a marquee taht I built for my site, and the speed is adjustable in the code:

    <table><td><center><tr><strong><marquee scroll amount="1" scroll delay="40" height="19" width="729"
    style="BORDER-RIGHT: #999999 groove; BORDER-TOP: #666666 groove; FONT-SIZE: 10pt; BORDER-LEFT: #999999 groove; COLOR: rgb(215,215,215); BORDER-BOTTOM: black groove; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana; BACKGROUND-COLOR: rgb(0,0,0)"
    border="0">EXAMPLE TEXT EXAMPLE TEXT</marquee></strong></tr></td></table>

    It is completely customisable. If you want, use it.
