page doesnt fit on ie8 and also seems to have gobbled an image

    Hello

Really hope someone can help as im sure this is a simple problem.

My site looks fine in Firefox (still to check other browsers , i know very naughty, thats the to do list tonight) but in IE 8 the content doesnt fit on the page (except home page, its on all the other this is a real problem) and a scrollbar appears at the bottom. its also lost a little mouse image in the bottom right hand corner.....no clue where thats gone to!!HA!!

Can anyone shed some light on this??

    site is joho designs

also the swf movie doesnt show in IE8 either.......any ideas??

    thanks muchly in advance!!

edit: ok maybe its to do with the screen size its viewed on and not browsers......im mainly working on a regular macbook to deisgn the site and in ff it looks fine, however on my work pc (res 1024x768) its not fitting correctly in IE8 or FF........this is a real head scratcher!!

Your problem is that you have used empty spaces in the name of your folders and files. Some browsers are strict, and require an URL encoding of some special characters, white spaces included:

But to avoid the encoding you'd better rename your folders and files. You may use underscores, for instance. Or hyphens. /Joho_site/, JoHo-Animation-flash-screen1.swf, and so on

Ok I have solved the size issue....just a case of re-sing my wrapper <div> and then everything inside it! knew it was simple haha!!

I tried renaming the file but that didnt seem to work, mind you my computer had a wobble which maybe why! will try again and get back to you!

    Thanks fr advice Kor
