    getting an image to show up only in certain browsers.

    hey.

    i have a .png file that i only want to show up in certain web browsers. namely..

    safari 4 or above
    firefox 3 or above
    IE 9 or above
    opera 10 or above
    chrome 4 or above

    basically any browser supporting HTML5/CSS3. any other browser i dont want this image to appear. is there a simple tag i can append to enable this?

    Try playing the "navigator" object of javascript ?

    use javascript to detect version of browser u want ur site to be shown and divert according to det.

    like, if ur choice of browsers meet u can continue in ur index page or if not divert to other page. sounds like creating a two pages but det's d way it is... now days sites r being developed to let IE6 user see upgrade message rather than original sites...
