    CSS Background Image Problem

    Here's the css code in question:

    html {
    	background: #c1c1c1;
    	background-image: url('./images/bg-tile.jpg');
    	margin: 0;
    	padding: 0;
    body {
    	font-family: "Helvetica", Arial, sans-serif;
    	font-size: 75%;
    	background: #c1c1c1 url('./images/bg-menu.png') repeat-x left top;
    	margin: 0;
    	padding: 0;
    For some odd reason, the html background image seems to be overriding the body background image and I can't figure out why this is happening. I've done this on other sites, and have personally viewed sites that have successfully done this and their code is practically the same as mine. So what's wrong with mine that the body background image won't show?

    Hello Psionicisin,
    Since yours is an image based question, can we get a link to the test site? That way we can see the images as well as the rest of your code.
    Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
    Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad
