    word-wrap and xhtml

    I do not seem to be able to use word-wrap with xhtml strict and css2. word-wrap seems to be a css3 property. How could I use it with xhtml or alternatives. I have a div box with many links and in IE6 I need the word wrap as it is presently not working.

    If you mean you don't want a word or string of characters to wrap onto a new line in a container, try

    Code:
    white-space: nowrap;
    on the element's css
