    Angry IE7 is making text float outside of its container

    hey there, so i have this jquery testimonal.
    and when viewed in IE7, the text seems to go outside of the container.

    and the css from view source.

    i have also attached a screen shot of the problem in ie7. It doesnt happen in any other browser.

    any ideas ?

    Still with the negative margin? I thought I'd looked at this issue once but I can't seem to find the original thread.

    Oh well, ...
    IE7 has issues with negative margins. Your -20px left margin, in other browswers, is trying to compensate for the default left padding on the ul.

    The solution here (I hope), instead of padding it the li's right and bringing them back with the negative margin, would be to eliminate the default padding.

    Try this -

    I didn't even see an unordered list in that section at all. Did you fix this problem? By using blockquotes?
