Internet Explorer Facebook like button z-index issue in IE

    Hi there,

I have a Facebook 'like' button to my product detail pages. I have a problem in IE (IE6, IE7 & IE8) with the 'layering' of it. It's appearing in front of everything, but it should be appearing behind things like the main image's hover window.

    An example page is:
    http://www.boohoo.com/new-in/eden-he.../invt/azz77976

Click on the 'tell a friend' button or hover over the main product image to see what I mean. In IE, the 'like' button will appear in front of these elements, but should appear behind them. This works fine in other browsers, it's just a problem in IE.

I have played around with the positioning and z-index but have not had any luck. Can anyone help please??

    Thanks in advance!
    Liam

This is what I know about IE and z-index, It does not work correctly. But here's something to try, give the parent element a higher z-index than the one causing the problem and that may force it to behave.

    Resolved.

I relatively positioned one of the parent divs "productdetail_left" and give it a relatively high z-index of 1001. I then gave the the fbLikeContainer div relative positioning and a LOW z-index of 1.
