    MD IN/OUT comments

    I have to make a few changes on a client's site, and saw that there's
    Code:
    <!-- MD IN -->
    stuff
    <!-- MD OUT -->
    areas in the markup.

    I suppose that's some sort of template code. Does anyone know which program does that?

    Those are just HTML comments. Most likely just a place holder so the editor (you now) knows where to put the content. http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_comment.asp

    As for the "MD" specifically referring to a program, beats me. Probably doesn't matter really.

    Alright, thanks. The thing is that the site was originally based on a Dreamweaver template, but got edited over time in non-editable areas with other programs, and it's now my job to reconnect all pages with the orignal template because of some site-wide changes.

    Just didn't want to touch those comments before knowing for sure that I'm not destroying some automation routine that has been set up in some other editor (like it has happened to the original template).
