    Strange list item offset (IE8)

    Hello,

    Could someone help, please? I have a strange issue with a navigation bar on my site. I've used an inline list with a mixture of CSS rendered links and null items for spacers. The final item is being offset down by around half the image height, but only in IE8; the issue even disappears if I switch to IE7 compatibility!

    It appears to be caused by an unseen item of text, as increasing or decreasing the text size affects the amount of the offset. I cannot work out where this is coming from.

    Here's the link to the page: http://howtocheatinphotoshopelements.com/index9.html

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello MyMeltingBrain,
    The ul is not really what you're displaying inline... Try removing that and making your CSS look like this -
    Code:

    #navbar ul {
    		list-style-type: none;
    margin: 0;
    padding: 0;
    	}
    Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
    Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad
