    Unhappy Image Map problem????

    Hi Guy's,
    Can you help me with a little problem using an image map?

    I want an image to popup when I mouseover the co-ordinates:

    <area shape="rect" coords="653,434,696,477" href="images/mapp4.png" alt="mapp4" title="mapp4" />
    <area shape="rect" coords="578,165,621,208" href="images/mapp5a.png" title="Waterfall" />
    </map>

    Thanks men!

    Frank

    How do you want it to pop up?
    In a new tab/window, or in a smaller popup window.
    If you want it to open in a new tab/window you could just use target="_blank".
    If you want a new smaller popup window, you're gonna have to create a javascript function.

    Hello fnewsome,
    Would a disjointed rollover work for you? Copy that if it will.

    If not, do you have a test site up where we can see this working? ...or not working as the case may be.
    Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
    Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad
