    Something Isn't Right....

    Hey all just looking for a lil bit of advice on this one, it was a pre-packaged .php deal, all I really had to do was change some particulars, and load the .sql file into the database... problem I'm having is on the "main" the format is fine, but when you use the navigation bar to go anywhere else on the site it messes it up Any help would be appreciated, I attached screen shots and my url as well.

    The image on the left is correct, and the one on the right is what it's doing...

    When you drop down the menu and go to say.. Test.. Look at the price of the bid and who the current winning bidder is and it's all out of whack... it's driving me nuts! I can't find the code source ANYWHERE!

    99% of the time, its a bad file link. Make sure your images are linked correctly.

    Are the images being pulled from a database?

    Ok here is the file path for your images:

    /img/auction_images/thumbs/no-image.gif

    They are all displaying the default no-image.gif image. Check your server-side coding.

    Yes the images are being pulled from the DB. They work everywhere else on the site just not the "home" page. Any ideas where would be a good place too look? Php was never my strong point. Thanks for the response, at least I'm getting somewhere now!!

    First place I would look is the code thats pulling the images in dynamically from your database. If you say the images work and display on other pages, then why not compare the code for the images on a page that works to the code on the page that doesnt work.

    I'm not that good with PHP either. Coldfusion is my bag, so in doing this same type of site template many times over in CF, I always use an if statement around my dynamic data that pulls the images from the db. So, if all the images are being replaced with the no-image.gif, then to me that would suggest something is wrong with my coding. Thats assuming you ARE creating this page dynamically.

    btw...I just checked and ALL your pages seem to be displaying the no-image.gif image now.

    You probably caught it when I was doing the DB dump and reload. They're working now... well all except the ones on the HOME PAGE I guess I'm blind or something because I view the source code for the non working page, then view the source code for the working page... NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL aside from the working page has the image url there and the other one doesn't... this is starting to really piss me off... The whole rest of the site works GREAT except that one thing and I cannot find the issue ANYWHERE!!!

    EDIT: I take it back I found the exact line of code it originates from

    <h2>Bid Now! These auctions are about to end...</h2>
    <ul class="horizontal-bid-list clearfix">
    <?php foreach($auctions_end_soon as $auction_ending_soon):?>
    <li class="auction-item" title="<?php echo $auction_ending_soon['Auction']['id'];?>" id="auction_<?php echo $auction_ending_soon['Auction']['id'];?>">
    <div class="item align-center">
    <h3><?php echo $html->link($auction_ending_soon['Auction']['title'], array('action' => 'view', $auction_ending_soon['Auction']['id']));?></h3>
    <div class="thumb">
    <a href="/auctions/view/<?php echo $auction_ending_soon['Auction']['id']; ?>">
    <?php if(!empty($auction['Auction']['image'])):?>
    <?php echo $html->image('auction_images/thumbs/'.$auction_ending_soonauction['Auction']['image'], array('border' => 0)); ?>
    <?php else:?>
    <?php echo $html->image('auction_images/thumbs/no-image.gif', array('border' => 0));?>
    <?php endif;?>
