    website not working in IE

    Hi there,

I am a beginner and just built and hosted a website www.krazycupcakes.com
    .
It opens only in Firefox but not in IE, chrome & safari.

Would greatly appreciate if someone can take a look and let me know what is wrong with it!

    Thanks.

    Vas

First try adding a valid doctype. <html> doesnt quite comeplete a valid doctype.

    Try this one:
    Code:
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

    Agreed.

    And correct this typo:

    Code:
<title>Welcome to Crazy Cakes : World of the freshly baked</tile>
Everything except FF is treating all the code as a title.

To add to all the wonderful advice being here given, always start your page with a doctype, with very few exceptions it goes at the very top of the page, and by all means use the validator, there is one for .css too:

    http://validator.w3.org/

That will save you much trouble. Opera has a validator too, and other code checking means.
Firefox does such a good job correcting code that it makes many really bad pages look good.
