    whats the ascii code for this?

    I tried
    Code:
    & # 1 7 5 ;
    (without spacing),
    as shown in the asci chart for extended codes but got a ¯

    so what is the acsii code for this »

    hmmm & # 62; is a greater than sign. and two of together gives you two greater than signs...not sure if that would work for you....they are a little spaced out. Give it a try.

    FYI: I used M$ Word to convert that unicode symbol to it's equivalent (just press Alt+x when the cursor is near to any character) hexadecimal. Then made a quick search using the result and got that link

    That character is also a named entity: » (right angle quote). There is also « (left angle quote).
