How to: Achieve /home or like /about?

    Hi all,

I'm redoing my portfolio website in HTML5 and CSS3 and I was just wondering if anyone knew how to achieve /about extension instead of it being saying /about.html.

Like this website: http://bit.ly/d7WOdG (just used bit.ly)

It has a /portfolio on the end of the root. How can this be achieved?

    Thanks.

Search these forums or the entire internet for “pretty URLs” and “htaccess”.

Thanks. I'll probably use this tutorial when it comes time to make the urls pretty.
