Whats involved in setting up website on server?

I'm using JustHost.com to host my site.
The server uses 'php', which i know nothing about.
I initially used a 'site building' program supplied by JustHost.com that created my site using what seems to be a css/html mixed template..

I'm writing my own CSS template and my own pages in html now.

The 'site building' program automatically created a bunch of folders on the server. I have firefox's FireFTP add-on, and I can access the files through that.

How would I make my own 'website' from scratch? Assuming I have my css layout and html pages written, what else would I have to do? what folders do I have to make?

I personally don't see how this is relevant to HTML and CSS. BUT to answer your question you need access to your FTP server or Upload manager on the back end of your hosting package. Also you can call your web host at 1-888-755-7585 for more assistance on this issue.

Please don’t cross post, this isn’t nice towards the people that try to help and waste their time when the answer has already been provided in another thread. Instead, ask a moderator to move your post (e. g. by reporting your post through clicking the red flag at teh left).
