    Guidance what to do next?

I hope you guys could help me out with some guidance in what to do next. I have been learning some basic css. both from head first and lynda (no intension for advertising) and I feel Im ready to try my "skills" out. However I dont pocess the knowledge to make things look good yet, I need some tricks to make my pages more charismatic and inviting, so what Im kind of asking for is some nice tutorials or specific site(s) or even some pin pointers on how to improve.

    I hope this make sense.

    Best regards and thanks

    That's a pretty broad question...

For css inspiration you could try zen garden, another approach is to find some sites you like the look of and have a look at the css to see how they've been built.

If you haven't discovered it already, Firebug, a plugin for Firefox is utterly invaluable both for this sort of thing and for building and debugging your own sites.
