    The script given at http://homepage.ntlworld.com/bobosola/ handles the input elements too.

    Why not use an image and use JS to submit it when clicked?

    Code:
    <input type="image" name="image" onclick="document.form.submit();" class="CLASS" />
    Current Project: Nothing at the minute
