Problem with site in IE works fine in Firefox

Hi everyone ^^ i`m new here good to meet you all. My problem is when I open
my site in IE the A B C D E tabs that take you to content are off to the right
when it should be center...and it shows some red on the bottom as well. Also
when you click on anime list at the top right all the anime listings are orange
when it should be white...no idea why this is happening. The code is kind of a
mess because this is the first website I have made and I`m just doing it from
w3school.com and notepad. The site is www.animesaki.com . This
problem does not happen in Firefox only IE.

    Anyone ???

Starts with fixing the errors in your markup, see http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ht...animesaki.com/

Your document should bear a Doctype, otherwise (in quirks mode) browsers will approximate the way they should interpret HTML, CSS and JavaScript codes.

I was at work and I saw your post Abduraooft and b4 I left I went to the site
you told me about and one of the first things it said was you need a Doctype...
I was like wth is that on my way home ...then I saw Kors post after I got home and that was the problem !!! I ended up using
    Code:
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
because It worked best with what I had ^^ thanks a ton
guys !!! Also I ran into another problem lol but I will try to figure it out myself first . In the case that I don`t should I open with a new thread or just post it in this one ? Thanks again 4 the help guys ^_^ !!!

Just continue with this one, if it's related the site in your original post.
